| MS didn't invent the exhaust manifold, he made a specific exhaust manifold of certain dimensions. The AMS manifold that came out shortly after varies only slightly in dimension. Your car analogy is totally flawed. To my knowledge, no one here has accused AMS of doing anything illegal. Certainly many have said that what they have done should be illegal. We've seen what's been presented and been convinced that AMS did nothing but obtain a set of MS manifolds and had copies made and that has been judged as immoral and unsupportable by many people. Some key points that have brought people to this conclusion: - As mentioned, the AMS manifolds were released not too long after MS manifolds became widely available. -I don't know about anyone else but I never saw AMS put out any kind of info regarding an up coming manifold release, which is especially important to note considering they have claimed that they had been years in the making. -From the pictures provided, there is very little visual difference between them, measurements taken vary between as little as .006" to .129". -They sell Alloy Toyz" 3" downpipes that can be little else than a total and complete ripoff the unique design created by Specialty Z. This is not directly related to the manifolds but serves as proof of character. So given all that, people that have a working moral compass have decided to refrain from buying anything from AMS and to spread the word about the aforementioned realities.
